Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the Oura to Claude Code integration ("the Integration"), published at ring.signalnine.net, handles information. The short version: the Integration fetches your Oura data to your own device at your request, this website stores nothing about you, and your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
1. Who operates this
The Integration is a personal project operated by the individual who runs signalnine.net ("the Operator"). It is not offered as a commercial service.
2. Data accessed from Oura
When you connect your Oura account, you authorize the Integration through Oura's OAuth flow and choose which scopes to grant. Depending on the scopes you approve, the Integration may read data such as:
- Basic profile information (age, height, weight, biological sex, email address as provided to Oura)
- Daily sleep, readiness, activity, stress, and resilience summaries
- Detailed sleep periods, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, SpO2, and body temperature data
- Workouts, sessions, tags, and other records you have created in the Oura app
The Integration only requests the scopes needed for the questions you ask it, and only reads data; it does not write to or modify your Oura account.
3. How data is used
Data is retrieved from the Oura API on demand and delivered to Claude Code running on your own computer, where it is used to answer your questions and produce analysis you requested. It is not used for any other purpose.
4. Where data is stored
- This website stores nothing. ring.signalnine.net serves static pages only. It has no user accounts, no database, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking scripts.
- OAuth tokens issued by Oura are stored locally on your device so the Integration can make API calls on your behalf. They are not transmitted to this website or to the Operator.
- Fetched data lives on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete it at any time.
5. Sharing with third parties
The Operator does not sell, rent, or share your Oura data with anyone.
Be aware that using Claude Code means the data you choose to analyze is sent to Anthropic's API as part of your conversation, subject to Anthropic's own privacy policy and the terms of your Anthropic account. The Integration does not send data to any other service.
6. Your choices and rights
- Revoke access at any time in the Oura app or web account under connected applications. Revocation immediately invalidates the Integration's tokens.
- Delete local data by removing the Integration's token and cache files from your device.
- Access, correct, or delete the underlying data through your Oura account; the Integration holds no separate copy beyond what is on your device.
Because the Operator holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for the Operator to export or erase on your behalf. If you believe otherwise, contact the Operator (section 9).
7. Security
Connections to the Oura API and to this website use HTTPS. Tokens stored on your device should be protected by your operating system's normal file permissions. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for securing the device on which you run the Integration.
8. Children
The Integration is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy can be directed to the Operator of signalnine.net.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Integration after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
